Preconditions for Learning and Educational Processes
Research on preconditions for educational processes includes theoretical conceptualisation and empirical analyses on societal, cultural, social and individual aspects that characterize, promote or impede – also from a historical perspective – learning and education.
Given the complexity of education-related research questions methodology in educational research includes a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research designs and methods of analyses.
The aim of educational research thereby is not only to gain greater knowledge on learning and educational development but also to identify, develop and describe implications for educational and political practice.
